چکیده

English is a challenging topic for Indonesian students since the language so different from and one of topics in grammar. However, sometimes learners make grammatical errors teachers are not an exception. This research focuses on categories found summative assessment composed by MGMP Boalemo their perceptions regarding said error. study employed descriptive qualitative method utilized document interview to collect data. The techniques data analysis thematic analysis. After conducting this research, it that most committed error participant omission, specifically omission parts speech caused mainly lack quality control among teachers. intended develop teaching, improving comprehension.

An Unsupervised Method for Detecting Grammatical Errors

We present an unsupervised method for detecting grammatical errors by inferring negative evidence from edited textual corpora. The system was developed and tested using essay-length responses to prompts on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The errorrecognition system, ALEK, performs with about 80% precision and 20% recall.
